D I WHY: Floral Lined Envelopes

IMG_5336

Oh, oh, oh. I’ve been thinking about this one for a while. As you may know my love for stationary is absurd and unparalleled (not hyperbole just the hard, honest truth here at preparatoryschool.com). It is actually a wonder that all of my DIY’s aren’t staionary specific. This project is so super easy and gives you a brill excuse to repurpose the images in old agendas or the loose (japanesse/handcrafted/artisnal) paper that has taken up permanent residence in your bedside drawer.

This is what you need:
Floral Paper
Envelopes
Double sided tape or glue
Ruler/Pen/Scissors

The steps are hella simple.

Trace an outline of the envelope
Move the outline in by a centinemeter or two.
Cut around the line you’ve drawn.
Insert the cut piece in to the envelope.
Glue or tape down the top half.
Dedicate a letter to the one you love.
